About the artist

Anthony Simpson is a self taught mixed media artist from the Lower Hudson Valley, New York. His work revolves around the juxtaposition of unique art forms found in urban landscapes and modern design elements.

Viewer and critic eyes are meant to flow through the various details & textures and the voids of color that are present. It’s about what is there and what is missing. The prevalent question is, "what is behind that void?"
